Here's 5 New Dolls (Elegant Ladies) I have made. They are all cloth. Clothing is new fabrics and vintage fabrics and trims. Hair is needle felted mohair. Faces are hand drawn. Totally hand made my me. :-)

These dolls are For Sale and I will be posting them to my Sales Blog And/Or My Etsy Shop in a few days.

THINGS

Well, I was hoping to have the New Year start out better but doesn't look like it. We shall see about that. :-) I'll turn it around as soon as I get my Studio in order. I already have a schedule of what I'm creating and the creating time. I know I know, that usually doesn't work but we shall see. :-)

I've also been busy doing this and that. I'm in the middle of cleaning and rearranging my Studio. It's taking me a lot longer than I thought it would. Nothing new there. LOL I have way too much stuff. hehehe! It will be nice when it's finished. I PROMISE MYSELF THAT I WILL CLEAN UP AFTER EACH DAY THAT I CREATE!!! I WILL!!!
I'm organizing myself. :-) I have a good plan and I WILL STICK TO IT!!! X X Yes, those are crossed fingers. :-)

I'm having some computer problems as usual along with some other computer problems that has taken me days(week so far) to get straightened out. Got it under control and hope nothing else happens.

I'll get off my soap box about myself. HEHEHEHE!!! It's upsetting when things happen and takes so long to get them fixed or straightened out. The Internet is great but it does have it's problems and takes time to fix it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!! I know I'm a day late but never got on the computer yesterday. Just stayed at home watching movies with hubby and our cat, Kat. Nice day to stay in PJ's and watch movies.

May 2010 bring all of us Peace on Earth. I wish all a healthy and successful year. I Wish for the war to be over and for all Countries to get along with each other. OH! WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD THIS WOULD BE!!!

HOLIDAYS ETC.

WISHING THAT ALL HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY. We had a wonderful Christmas. As some of you know my husband and I own a Perfume Shop here in Vegas. During the Christmas Holidays I have to work everyday from Opening to Closing. We are ready for bed as soon as we drag our tired bodies into our house each evening JUST TO GET UP EARLY THE NEXT DAY AND DO THE SAME THING EVERYDAY FOR 9 DAYS IN A ROW. LOL LOL!! I keep telling my husband this is the 9TH CHRISTMAS in a row now. LOL LOL I'm tired I guess. I just want to have one year that we can have a normal Christmas without being so tired. hehehe
I really shouldn't complain, our store is holding it's own. Not like some that have gone under. I really do Pray and count our Blessings.

I do have a few Christmas pictures and I will post them later.

HAPPY NEW YEAR is next. :-) I'm looking forward to a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR in 2010.

MY BOY KAT

THIS IS MY BIG BOY "KAT". He is 8 years old. We have had him since he was 8 months old. He is a BIG cat. (Still growing) He's a sweetheart. Sometimes his eyes are green and sometimes his eyes are orange. In this picture they are green. Picture doesn't capture how pretty his eyes are. On Halloween they were orange. When the door bell rang he would go to the front door to see all the kids dressed up. He would stand or sit and look at them. LOL!! I'm not sure what that is behind him.

THANKSGIVING/FAMILY/ DOLLS & CHRISTMAS

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING. We did. Our daughter Angela and our grandson Kyle came in for a few weeks. They left yesterday to go home. REALLY DO MISS THEM!!!

Went to our grandson Cain's concert last night. He plays the violin. It was a wonderful concert at his school. I'm so proud of him. :-) WOOOHOOO!! GREAT JOB CAIN!!!! Grandma & Grandpa are PROUD OF YOU!!!

I met my deadline on making 5 dolls. WOOHOO!!! My new camera I got for my birthday came in handy. It really takes wonderful pictures.

I finished the Littest Elf Swap that I was in on Vivian's list. I mailed my Elf to my swap partner a couple of days ago. Amy, Hope you like him. Amy if you are reading this post, please take pictures of him. I FORGOT TO. :-( I thought I did take pictures but with everything going on I must have forgot because there's no pictures of him in my camera. OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm BAD!!!! IT SLIPPED MY MIND!!! SORRY!!! Hope Amy sends pictures and I will post them on my blog. I guess I had/have too much on my mind of late. YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! WHAT MIND!!! HEHEHEHEHE!!! I REALLY DO HAVE ONE. HEHEHEHE!!

Now, I need to screw my head on right BECAUSE I have to get to work on new patterns and dolls. I have 2 stockings to make and mail out. Today I will clean my studio SO I can get back to creating. My mind is so full that it's running over. hehehehe! It's PENCIL & PAPER TIME!! MUST CARRY THEM AROUND WITH ME. hehehehe!

TODAY/NO PICTURES JUST TALK

Today is a great day so far although I'm still working day and night on a deadline. Got 5 dolls just about finished. I have shoes to make, nails to do and final little touch ups. Thought I would take a small break and jump on the computer for a few minutes. Haven't been checking emails, blogs, lists, etc like I should but I'm swamped in my studio right now.

My daughter Angela and our grandson Kyle will be here Saturday!! WOOOHOO!! I can't wait to see them. They will be here until Dec. 8th. Hopefully some of our other kids and grands will be here for Thanksgiving. We know Brandi, Jason and Cain will be here; they live here. :-)

I am doing a Littest Elf Christmas Swap on Vivian's blog. I'm working on my Elf for my swap partner between working on the 5 dolls. :-) Can't just work on one thing at a time. NOPE!! NOT ME!! and I'm sure that goes for you too. :-0

I better get off here and get back to those dolls. I hear them calling me. LOL

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

Today is my Birthday!! I LOVE FRIDAY 13th. 13 is a very good number. Nothing scary about 13. I've been working on dolls all day in my studio. Now I have to go clean house before company comes over to watch me blow out all those candles on my cake. Must put the fire dept. on alert. LOL!! YES! There are LOTS & LOTS of candles to blow out. I have blown out all my candles on my past years cakes SOOOOOOOOOO, I will blow all them out tonight!! YES I WILL!! Practice comes in handy. ROFL!!! Fill those lungs up.

POSTING/BIRTHDAY

I haven't posted is awhile. I try to check out a blog or two and some of my doll lists BUT haven't done much of that either. I have been held captive in my studio for weeks. Nice place to be held captive BUT it's VERY MESSY!! Do you know how many body parts I have made????LOTS & LOTS!! And they are all over the studio. I finially got a arm with fingers the way I wanted it. It's for a small doll and those fingers are tough!! Well, at least these were. I have designed lots of hands with fingers but this one just did not want to cooperate UNTIL TODAY!!! I have a deadline to meet by Dec. 1st for 5 dolls and I'm praying and hoping I get these dolls finished by then. Especially after all the work I've been doing. I only have 19 days left. OOOOOOH!! WISH ME LUCK!!!

Our daughter Angela and our grandson Kyle are coming out to spend 3 weeks with us. WOOOHOOO!!! They will be here for Thanksgiving. They will be here to help trim the Christmas Tree. We always put our tree up Thanksgiving Day and then trim it in the evening. I'm really looking forward to their visit. I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!!!

O! and it's by BIRTHDAY on Friday Nov. 13th!!! Nope I wasn't born on Friday 13th. I was born on a Saturday. But I love Friday the 13th and the number 13 is lucky for me. :-) We will have cake and all of my candles plus one to grow on and one for good luck will be on my cake. FIRE DEPT. STAND BY!!! I blow all my candles out at once. WOOOHOO!!! Hope I blow all of them out this year. hehehe!!

Well, got to get back to sewing more arms and tiny finger. Attach the arms to the bodies and then the doll body is together and finished. WOOHOO!!! Can't wait!!! Then I start costuming the dolls. Designing the costumes is my favorite thing to do beside drawing the face.

GOING OUT OF TOWN AGAIN

I'm going out of town AGAIN! Now y'all know why I don't get anything done. LOL!! Hopefully this will be our last trip for the year. I have so much that I have to finish. Time is slipping right past me. I'm even missing our doll club meeting this Saturday and I'm the President. That's OK, Micki the Vice President is standing in for me. WOOHOO! She's good!! I do have to send her some information for the meeting.

I have Christmas Ornaments I have to make and get in the mail. I have a Ebay item that I'm bidding on and it ends while I'm gone. !! DARN!!I don't want to miss out on this item. Maybe I will take my lap top and hope I can use it in Cedar City, Utah OR place my highest bid before I leave and HOPE I WIN!!!

I have been designing a leg (legs) pattern most of the day. I haven't had time to look at lots of blogs because there's always something else I have to do. No time to read all my emails and lists that I'm on. Where is the time going??? I sure wish time would slow down some so I can get more done in a day. LOL! I'm sure most of us wish for that one. :-) I think I'm out of control with everything I have to do and finish creations. I woke up around 4:30 A.M. this morning THINKING about everything that I have to do. That really isn't anything unusal for me. :-) I did get up and do some house work and then went into my studio until our daughter Brandi came over for Breakfast and to help her Dad with a program on the computer. NOW I HAVE A HEADACHE!!

MY HALLOWEEN BOY!!

Meet my Halloween Boy, Kat. My husband wanted to name him Dog but I wouldn't let him. Next name he wanted to name him was cat. I told him cat with a K not a C. Kat was sleeping and I snapped his picture and he woke up. I got his eyes open. They are orange and sometimes they are green.
He's our big boy. He weighs almost 30 lbs. He's a big boy. We had to buy him a dog bed to sleep in. Cat beds were too small for him. He's normal, he's a big cat. I forget what cat family he is. He's not in the main coon family. The cat family he is in starts with a B. Our cable guy has one just like him but his is a girl. She's 25 lbs. Kat loves to run and romp through the house, up and down furniture. I sure hope he doesn't run up and down our new sofa and chair that was delivered today. So Far, So Good. :-) SHHHHHHH!! Kat went right back to sleep. The deliverly guys thought he was a dog at first glance. hehehehe!!! SHHHH! we won't tell Kat they thought he was a dog.

Nature's Beauty Class I Teach & Students Dolls

Monday Sept. 5th & Tuesday Sept. 6th I taught my Nature's Beauty Class to 3 wonderful ladies & friends of mine in my Studio. Each doll is unique and beautiful. Ladies, you all DID ME PROUD!!! FANTASTIC DOLLS!!

Each student did a fantastic job of creating their Nature's Beauty. We all had a fun 2 days.

OOOPS!! OUT OF TOWN

OOOPS!!! SORRY!!! I forgot to post that I would be out of town from Sept. 10th through Sept. 15th. My hubby and I are in Texas. We went to San Antonio for our 15th anniversary and then we went to Dallas to see our 2 sons and their family. We will be leaving for home tomorrow evening. It has rained everyday that we have been here. Every time we come to Dallas IT RAINS!!! San Antonio needed the rain. LOL LOL!!! It's been fun spending time with the kids and grandkids.

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!

I want to wish all a HAPPY LABOR DAY!! Hope all have lots of fun and yummy food. :-) Ken and I are going to go see a movie tomorrow. We are going to go see "ALL ABOUT STEVE" Sandra Bullock is one of my favorite actress. It looks like it will be funny. OH! and we are going to eat yummy food. There goes the diet. NO!! not really. Have to be good. I've lost 7 lbs. so far. Can't mess up now. Ken has lost 7 lbs also. Usually men loose more and I know he will because he has lost that much before in one week. He has to get with the program. hehehe!! and leave the goodies alone. Got to get healther. Good ole exercise to. :-) We have our mind set to loose these extra extra pounds. We have done it before (put it back on) BUT we are determined to stick to the diet & exercise. WISH US LUCK!!

TODAY'S POST :-)

I was a couple of days late on mailing out the 2 give aways. I just checked and one package has been delivered today and the other package is at the post office and hopefully delivered today also. Hope you like your prizes.

I figured I would post some other stuff today. I got most of the doctors appointments done. WOOOHOOO!!! Now I have to watch what I eat and exercise. UGH! I go back in 3 months to have more blood work. That's to check and see if watching what I eat and exercise is bringing my blood sugar(Glucose, Serum which is only 3 points above normal) and triglycerides down. My cholesterol is good except for one of them (bad or good one is to low HDLone) This is where the exercise comes in. It will bring it up. My triglycerides don't know what to do with the sugar. I never had high blood sugar until this year. Go Figure!! Eating lots of all the good sugar desserts brings my triglyerides up . SOOOOOOOOOO!! I WILL START BEING GOOD AND LEAVE THE GOOD STUFF ALONE AND EXERCISE!!! Other than that I'm healthy. :-) God's watching over me. That reminds me, a few weeks back my husband and I went to the Chinese restaurant. My fortune cookie said "God looks after you especially"

I received an email from the Museum Curator in Lithuania. My doll arrived and they really like it. Also got my invitation to the exhibit. I wish I could go but can't. I'm really excited that I was asked to send a doll for the exhibit. Pictures of the exhibit isn't up but the announcement is. Seems I have a lot of doctor appointments this month. Regular doctor, Breast doctor and Eye doctor. Well, at least I will have all that behind me for a year except for the breast doctor. I have to go every 6 months to see him. Hopefully he will say I don't have to come back for a year. I hope. Not bad, it could be worst. I'm thankful I'm as healthy as I am.

My doll "Margie In Flight" is published in "Doll Crafters & Costuming" magazine. Made me Happy :-) when I opened the magazine and saw her and her goose.

I have a couple of dolls to send to California for Exhibit. They are ready to go in the mail tomorrow. WOOOHOOO!!!

I was asked to send a doll to Lithuania to be display in a museum. It's on it's way to the Lithuania Museum. I am THRILLED!!!

I have to make a gyspy doll for the Gyspy Challenge. I also have a doll made already for Celebration of Dolls. They both go to Houston, Texas to be display at the International Quilt Show.

I have to work on an online class or two that I will be teaching in the near future.

I have to work on new patterns I am designing. I also have to make 3 or 4 new dolls for another project. OH! DEAR! Looks like I just made my THINGS TO DO LIST!! LOL!! I have lots more to add to it but I won't yet. :-)

EDAC MINI CLASS I TAUGHT

"NEEDLE, THREAD & SPOOL FAIRY" MINI CLASS TAUGHT AT EDAC

I taught my "Needle, Thread & Spool Fairy" as a mini class at EDAC. Everyone had so much fun. All the Fairies turned out so cute and wonderful. Sorry, I do not have any class pictures due to my not charging my camera before I left for EDAC.. A couple of students took pictures. I will see if they will email them to me and I will post them at a later date.

HOME FROM EDAC

I'm home from EDAC 2009 http://www.enchanteddollartistsconference.org/
It was FANTASTIC!! I'm the Room Mom and everything went great. Everyone was excited and had a fantastic time. Wonderful stuff in the Sales Room. YES, I did spend $$ there. :-) Some of us went to HOBBY LOBBY!! YES! I spent $$ there also. We don't have a Hobby Lobby in Vegas. Wish we did. My husband hopes one never comes to Vegas. HAHAHAHA!

I did rest a day before I got on the computer. Below is a picture of my "Magical Jester" I won First Place Advance Professional catagory. WOOHOO!!! I was EXCITED!! So was my "Magical Jester" He's still Excited!!

GOING AWAY AGAIN!

I'm going away again. I leave tomorrow morning for EDAC (Enchanted Doll Artist Conference) www.enchanteddollartistconference.org in New Mexico. I've been working day and night to finish stuff for my sales table, etc. Didn't get done with everything I wanted to make. That's ok. My suitcases are full with what I did finish. LOL LOL!!! Got 2 big suitcases and a carry on with dolls in it. NEXT YEAR I'M GOING TO WORK ON STUFF ALL DURING THE YEAR!! Then just maybe I will not have to rush around like a chicken with it's head cut off. My head is fried right now. I know I will forget something. I hope not but got that feeling. I even made myself a list or two or three. :-)

ODACA & EDAC

ODACA www.odaca.org was wonderful. The dolls are just amazing. What talent everyone has. I enjoy being part of ODACA (Original Doll Artist Counsil of America). I'm the Aux member Chair. I help with the conference. The center piece dolls were to die for. I won the one at my table. WOOOOHOO!! Stevi T. was the artist who made the table center pieces (Fairy God Mother; made of resin and cloth)this year. My camera is dead so I will have to take pictures later. Randy Taylor made dolls for everyone at each table. How cute they are . A little sculpted baby on a lady bug.

EDAC www.enchanteddollartistsconference.org is July 30 - Aug. 2 in New Mexico. (I'm leaving Las Vegas on July 28th and will return home on Aug. 3rd) This is a FANTASTIC DOLL CONFERENCE. I've been going for quit a few years now. I'm also the room mom. I make sure everyone has a room and roommate. I've been working on dolls and other things for EDAC. I just finished a Banquet Table Doll to be auctioned off after the Banquet. The Theme is Magic. That is wide open for the imagination. I'm working on other dolls and other things for my sales table. I'm also teaching a mini class on Friday night. Got to finish the kits. I'm making something for the Newbies (people attending for the 1st time) OOOOOOOOO!!! So much to do in SOOOOOOOOOOOOO Little Time!!!

So that is my Clue to get off the computer and get back to work. :-)

Going Away Again

I'm going away again. Haven't had time to post before. I'm leaving in the morning for Atlanta, GA. Going to ODACA (Original Doll Artist Council of America). www.odaca.org Will return home Monday afternoon July 13.

I'M ALIVE

I'm alive. Just been so busy with conference duty for a couple of wonderful Doll Conferences. Been busy making dolls, doll supplies, etc. for EDAC www.enchanteddollartistsconference.org I have a sales table there so, I've been really busy. I will be busy until the day I leave for EDAC.

Next week is ODACA in Atlanta, GA. I will be going there, I help with the conference. It's a great conferences.

I will post more later. GOSH!! It's almost been a month since I posted. HOW TIME FLIES!!

HOME

I'm home from our East Coast trip. It was lots of fun. Loved seeing family and friends.
I will post more on that later. It's taken me a few days to get back into the swing of things. I must be getting old. hehehehe NOT!!! I have so much to catch up on it's not funny!! I will catch up on most stuff but I'm sure I can't catch up on everything.

I have pictures of my Nature's Beauty Class to post. I love teaching doll making classes. Everyone has fun and does a fantastic job. I'll post pictures later.

My grandson Cain is spending the day with me while Mommy & Daddy work. He got out of school yesterday. Today is his 11th Brithday. Ken and I had a little party for him this morning. He opened his gifts, blew out his candles and said, this is the best birthday.

Well, I better run for now, I have lots to create today.

I'M ON THE EAST COAST WITH FAMILY

Sorry, I didn't get to post before I left Las Vegas to go visit some of our children and grand kids.
My computer wasn't acting nice. I hope to have it fixed when I get home. This is the first chance I've had to get on a computer here in PA. We left Las Vegas on May 21 and will return home June 1. Having lots of fun with the kids and grand kids.

I wanted to let all know I'm still here but not home. :-)

A WALL HANGING "FAIRY FASHIONS"

This is a wall hanging I did for Art Quilts that I belong to. This was so much fun. I'm using it for another project deadline I have. You know the saying. "Kill two birds with one stone" Just a figure of speak. I would never kill 2 birds . I'm sending it to someone that asked me to send a creation that might get into a book. Even if it doesn't make the cut of the book, it sure was fun and I have plans for more pages and am turning it into a class. ~~What FUN~~

NATURE'S BEAUTY 2

"NATURE'S BEAUTY" is a class that I teach. I just taught it in my studio. I will post finished pictures of my Students Nature's Beauty later. We will take pictures on the 16th of all of us together with finished Nature's Beauty. Wait until you see all their "Nature Beauties" . They all did me PROUD!!!

This is Carissa our new granddaughter. She's 2 months old. Carissa is dressed in her Easter dress and has her Easter Bunny. Will get to see her and cuddle her in 17 days. NEW ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY

"MISTER MEEHAN"

Meet "MISTER MEEHAN" He is a 2 year old Chestnut Thoroughbred. Isn't he beautiful?He is my husbands name sake. One of his Marine friends that he was in Viet Nam with now owns race horses. He named a horse after my husband Ken. What a wonderful thing for him to do. While we are away in PA & NY we are going to visit them in Delaware and we will get to meet "MISTER MEEHAN". I get to feed "MISTER MEEHAN Peppermint Candies. Horses LOVE Peppermint Candies. They are so gentle eating out of your hand. We will be there for the Memorial Day Parade & Program. My husband, Ken will raise the USMC flag during the ceremoies. He also has a brick with his name on it at the Viet Nam Memorial. I'm so excited for him.

I promised I would post today and I did. :-) Now I'm going back to dying fabric and work on dolls.

FAIRY PINCUSHION IN PATTERN BOOKLET

I'm in the process of putting my Fairy Pincushion into Pattern Booklet. I hope to have it finished in a week. I'm going to give it to the printer tomorrow. Sunday I'm going away for a few days. Ken and I are going to Carlsbad, San Diego and Julian, California for a few days. It's get away time. :-) We will be home on Wednesday.

KAT WATCHING TV AND RESTING

This is my cat, "Kat". He is 27.8 lbs of black and a little white fur on his neck. He is a sweetheart. He is 8 years old. Very lovable cat. He runs through the house and he sounds like a horse romping. hehehe!! He also runs up and down the furniture when he is running and romping through the house. It's hard to get a good picture of him. My daughter Brandi and grandson Cain were over for supper last night. She took Kat's picture. She thought it was great the way he was laying on the couch all stretched out. I'm not sure what breed of cat he is. The cable guy was here one day and he told me what breed he was because he has one like him except his was 22 lbs. They are big cats. EXCUSE THE WHITE WORK PANTS THAT KAT IS LAYING ON. I had to sew them for my son in law.

I don't know how long he is. Didn't get his back feet in this picture. I'll have to measure him from nose to tail. I'll try for a better picture later on, when I can catch him resting on his back again.

FRAN'S GIRLZ HAVE TAILS

My GIRLZ have beaded tails now. They put up a bit of a protest but I explained to them they have to have a tail for this swap. I told them, they would love having a pretty beaded tail.

Meet Mr. Blueberry Troll. OH How he loves Blueberries and especially Blueberry Pie. He's bad, he won't share his blueberries or blueberry pie with anyone. AND I DO MEAN HE WON'T SHARE!!! You see what happen to Mr. Blueberry Troll; he has eaten so many blueberry's he is turning blue in places. Look at his hair, BLUE!!! it used to be brown. His eyes used to be brown also and now they are BLUE!! His clothing is blue also. He thinks he looks very Dapper!!! Yes, Dapper he said. hehehehe Don't even think about touching his blueberries.... He has a Magic Mushroom that told him if he eats too many blueberries he will start seeing himself turning blue. It's the Magic of Blueberries. His Magic Mushroom is being repaired. SOMEONE DROPPED IT AND BROKE IT!!! OOOOOOOOO!!! Mr. Blueberry Troll is soooooooo upset with the person that drop and broke his Magic Mushroom. AND WE ALL KNOW WHO THAT PERSON IS !! .......... YES! I DID IT!!! hehehehe SHHHHHHHHHH!!! Mr. Blueberry Troll DOES NOT KNOW IT WAS MY HANDS THAT DROPPED HIS MAGIC MUSHROOM AND BROKE IT!! Don't tell Mr. Blueberry Troll it was me. He thinks I'm great and I wouldn't do anything like that BECAUSE I created him and his magic mushroom. He now wants me to fix his mushroom. I re-assured him I would and I WILL!! IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!! REALLY IT WAS!! :-) Mr. Blueberry Troll will have a new Magic Mushroom tomorrow. STAND BY.............CHECK FOR MAGIC MUSHROOM TOMORROW.

JUST A POST

No, I haven't fallen by the way side. :-) I've been busy with dolls, family, allergies, etc etc etc.
You know those everyday life things?????

March is almost gone and it seems it was March 1st a few days ago. Time sure does fly by us.

Had a wonderful visit with my daughter Nicole while she was here. I miss her but will see her in May when we go to PA. They plan on coming to Vegas to our house for Christmas. What a wonderful Christmas that would be.

I'm back on my diet and lost 2 lbs this week. I look back and think why do I loose weight and then turn right around and put it back on and then some? Well, I am determined to stick to this diet and keep it off. After all I have a closet with lots of clothes I can't get into. :-) I can go shopping in my own closet when I loose this weight. My weakness is sweets! OOOOOOOO!! M&M's are my favorite. I have been good and have not had an M&M in awhile. Every now and then won't hurt. I do the points on Weight Watchers. For now I am trying not to eat them. :-)
I don't have any M&M's in the house. I will HAVE to have M&M's when I go to EDAC in July.
That is a MUST!!! If I didn't bring M&M's they would really think something was wrong with me. LOL!!! Some of you know about me and my M&M's at EDAC. http://www.enchanteddollartistsconference.org/ It's a doll conference I have been going to for years. Wish I could go to all the doll conferences. :-) I'm Room Mom for EDAC. I also will be going to ODACA DAYS in July. http://www.odaca.org/ I'm Aux Chair and help with the Luncheon, raffles, etc. ODACA DAYS will be in Atlanta, GA this year.
A couple more wonderful conferences are; M M & M http://www.anniedolls.com/ in Sept. in Ky and AFIC http://www.cyndysdolls.com/ in April in OH. There's lots more conferences and I would love to go to all the conferences but can't. :-(

Just wanted to post a note to let all know that I'm still alive and kickin. hehehe!!
Now I have to go finish working on my Little Victorian Boy Pattern. His name is Ethan. His body is finished and I'm working on his clothing. Hope to have him finished soon. I'll post pictures of him when finished.

NEW GRAND BABY

We have a new granddaughter. Her name is Carissa Lee, 6 lbs. 6 oz. Born Feb. 28. We won't get to cuddle her until late in May. Hope to have some pictures soon. We did see a picture on our daugthers Face Book. Carissa was not a happy camper at all. LOL

More Later. I'm going to go back to watching NASCAR!!! NASCAR is here in Las Vegas. Just up the road from my house. I won't go because it's just way too crowded. I have a better view right here on our TV set. :-0 Hope Dale Jr. wins. :-)

NEW DOLL PATTERNS

I haven't been posting because I've been busy with life and finishing a few new patterns and pressmolds. I also have had lots of computer and printer problems; all are solved now after 2 new printers. I LOVE my new HP All In One Printer. It does everything I need it to. shhhhhhhhh! I can't say that very loud. :-)

HOME FROM FLORIDA

We arrived home from Florida late Monday night. It was a wonderful trip. Got to spend lots of time with family. Everyone had a wonderful time. I FORGOT my camera at home BUT one of our nieces took pictures and she is emailing pictures to us. I think my husband said, she already sent them via email to him. Now I have to wait for him to send them to my computer. :-) Me and the camera don't get along, I think, I don't like carrying it. hehehe!! It was a mental block !!! :-)

I didn't do too much yesterday but unpack, wash clothes, put them away, etc etc etc................All the normal stuff you have to do after coming home from a trip. Thank goodness I left the house clean when we left. I love coming home to a clean house after a long trip. That kinda sounds like maybe I don't always come home to a clean house. hehehehe. Kat(our cat) was glad to see us. My brother in law came over eveyday to take care of him and get the mail.

Monday night I went to get on the computer :-) BUT it was down!! Both computers in our house were down. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Ken got them running but mine had problems before we left. The printer was doing weird things. Now I have a new printer and my computer is working.SHHHhhhhhhhhh!!! I can't say that too loud. LOL Now I can get rest of my patterns printed, pictures for the pattern covers printed, etc. I will go out to the printer today and get all the other parts of the patterns I had them print. I like printing my pictures at home on my printer. These patterns have been A LONG TIME getting finished. Life sure does get in the way a lot sometimes. I had my share for awhile, I hope and pray. ALTHOUGH, when we got home and looked through the mail..........GRRRRRRR! There was a Jury Summons for me for March 12th. I have to call the night before to see if my badge number is in the group that has to go. I had to do this 3 months ago and my badge number wasn't in the group then. BUT it probably will be this time. :-) Oh Well!, will do my duty BUT I'd rather be in my studio CREATING!!!

Of course I have lots of other things to work on today. I think it would scare me if I didn't have something I HAD to do. :-) I'm off to work on a new doll and put her/him in pattern form.

GOING OUT OF TOWN

I'm going out of town until Monday Feb. 9th. Going to Florida with my husband to visit family.
I won't have a computer unless some of the family has a computer. :-) I think I shall live if they don't have a computer I can get on. hehehehehe!!!
I'm taking stuff to work on. I have an article to write so that will keep me busy because I'm not a writer. :-) I write the way I talk. :-) I'm taking pattern work with me also; writing my pattern instructions. SEE!! I'm writing again. LOL LOL!!! Pattern directions; I can write. VBG!
Until Feb. 9th or shall I say Until Feb. 10th there won't be any posting from me.

FOUND OLD PICTURE

I found this old picture of me, 2 of my brothers; Tommy and Frank.
I was 5 years old, Tommy on my right was 6 yrs old and Frank on my left was 4 years old.
This was Christmas at our Mammy and Pappy(Grandparents) house. I got a wooden Table and chairs. They were cream color with red stripe on the cream color legs. I also got a walking bride doll. Santa was gooooooooood!! He visited our house and our Mammy and Pappy's house.
