PROGRESS ON MY NEW STUDIO

Here's a couple of picture of the walls in my new studio. Walls are Apricot Lily and Bee Pollen. Next the wood flooring will go in. WOOOHOOO it won't be long now. There will be a fake window too. My hubby will build my work table, cabinet for fabrics, book/magazine rack/case and shelves. The picture with the door seems to be showing up looking like pink but it's not pink it's the color of the top picture next to the yellowish green wall. Pictures aren't very good. Must be the person taking the pictures. LOL Hope to be moved into my Studio by the end of March or early April.
Will post more pictures when the floor is in.

"COMING SOON" - NEW WALL HANGING DOLLS PATTERN WILL INCLUDE FACE MASK

"SARASWATI"

I finished 2 New Wall Hanging Dolls, "Alma" & Saraswati".

Now I must finish pattern instructions on a couple of other dolls "Rachel" & "Abella".

Back to the 2 New Wall Hanging Dolls "ALMA" & "SARASWATI". I started them sometime ago. Since my studio is in such a mess and I can't get to my sewing machine I thought I would finish them.
Here they are. The orange/gold/brown is called "Alma" Spirit of Nourishing Soul. The pink/purple/green is called "Saraswati" Goddess of Art. These doll will be a pattern with a clay face mask. I will put Alma and Saraswati in pattern form after I finish "Rachel" & Abella. "Little Dolls From My Soul" pattern w/pressmold are finished. WOOOHOOO !!! I'm getting there slowly but surely.

BACK TWO PAGES OF MY RR RECIPE JOURNAL

Here's the back two pages in my RR Recipe Journal. There's enough pages in my RR Recipe Journal for each to do 2 pages. I can't wait to see all the RR Recipe Journals finished. I have Anita's RR Recipe Journal. I'm working on it. Just wanted to show the other pages I did in my RR Recipe Journal. I'm mailing it out tomorrow. I'm behind on mailing mine. I have several things I have to mail. I forgot today was a Holiday and the Post Office was closed.

ROUND ROBIN RECIPE JOURNAL

I'm doing a Round Robin Recipe Journal with 12 other ladies on Fabricdollart group. I had lots of fun making mine. I did the front cover and two inside pages of my journal. This is going to be a fun Round Robin. Won't get our Recipe Jouranls back for over a year. OOOOOOOO seems like a long time but time passes by fast. Hope y'all like it.

CLASS I TOOK FROM BARBARA WILLIS SAT.&SUN.

The last couple of days (Sat. & Sun., yes I missed half of the Supper Bowl BUT I got to the Supper Bowl Party at half time. WOOOHOOO) I was taking Barbara Willis "Whisper" class. Our doll club Las Vegas Silver Doll-Ers had Barb come and teach. Of course I couldn't past up taking a class from Barb. It was the first time I met her. Barb is a wonderful teacher and a nice lady. We had lots of fun.
The class was great. We didn't finish our dolls in class but we went away with enough to finish them. I finished mine last night when I got home. I did do my own thing on her torso instead of putting the corset on her. She's hanging between my living room and kitchen. If you ever get a chance to take Barb's class DO. I've made wall hanging dolls, etc before BUT you always learn something new in every class you take. I learn new ways of doing some things in Barb's class.

TEAPOT SWAP

I haven't posted in awhile. Lots of things going on and no time to do it all.
We did a Teapot Swap on Fabricdollart and this is the parts I received and put together. Itsn't it a great Teapot? The body was made by Jacque Uetz. The handle was made by Sherry Goshon. The hat was made by Judi W. Head was made by Cherie Day. I don't know who the spout was made by. If any of you know who made the spout, please let me know. It was a fun swap. This is the 4th Teapot swap I've been in. They are lots of fun.

DORIT'S CLASS

I haven't posted in awhile so thought I would post something. :-) Some of you have seen the head and body that I made in Dorit's class. The head is finished but the body isn't finished. Dorit is showing some of the students how to wrap the armature.

Mary Ann & Bonnie of Dollmakers Journey.com sent me their Lady Chatelaine pattern for Christmas. I'm suppose to be working on the instructions for my up coming online class BUT with the Holidays I've been doing everything else. I needed to sit back relax and do something other than what I'm suppose to do. ROFL!!! I just finished Lady Chatelaine the pincushion. I had so much fun making her. CREATING

Well, tomorrow I get to start creating again. WOOOOHOOOO!!! I don't have to work our perfume shop for the next 6 days. Tomorrow I will work on my new online class for DollStreet.
I have 3 new pressmolds that I have to make bodies for and write the instructions for. I'll start on one pattern at a time. :-) So much to do !! It will all come together the way it's supposed too. I can't wait to get back to creating. I've missed it since I've had to work at our perfume shop the past couple of weeks everyday. Now Christmas is over it's back to one day a week. HURRAY!!!

I sculpted the 2 Pirates two years ago and gave one to my grandson Cameron for his room. His room is made like a Pirate ship. His Mommy (my daughter) is an artist and she did his room like a Pirate ship. It's really neat!! She drew the Crow's Nest on the wall and put a wooden shelf up for the Pirate to stand on. The other Pirate will go to my grandson Cain.  Actually this one in the picture goes to Cain. I didn't post the pic of the one for Cameron. Will later.

OH!! My Kitchen is FINISHED!!! The shutter were installed a few days before Christmas. I will take pictures and post them.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas/Holidays. We had a wonderful Christmas. Christmas Breakfast is at our house every Christmas Morning. My hubby loves to cook.
Family and Friends were over for Christmas Breakfast. Everyone had a great and fun time.

I haven't anything new to show y'all. I do have 3 new pressmolds but I don't have the dolls finished. I will show them to you when I finish them. NOW it's TIME to get BACK to CREATING.

CHRISTMAS TREE - GINGERBREAD HOUSE & KAT

Here's a picture of my Christmas Tree.

My Grandson Cain and I made a Gingerbread house this morning. He had so much fun making it. I was there to give him help. He's pleased with it and can't wait until his Mama picks him up this evening so he can show her his Gingerbread house. Cain didn't even want to take time and comb his hair or eat breakfast. LOL LOL!! Him and Grandpa are out getting their hair cuts now.

I posted a picture of my cat, Kat. He weighs 24 lbs, well the last time I weighed him, I keep telling him he's part Panther. He's a sweetheart.
Got to get ready and go to the shop and help out. We are really busy and will be from now through Christmas Eve.

ANGEL & DOLL CLUB GATHERING

Our doll club Silver Doll-Ers did not have a regular meeting this month. Diane one of our members invited us over to her house for a Cookie Exchange and a Christmas Bird project OR we could bring something to work on. There were 7 of us and we had lots of fun. The other members that didn't go REALLY MISSED OUT ON THE FUN & COOKIE EXCHANGE.
This is the Christmas bird I made and it's hanging on my Christmas tree. I also made 17 little stockings for my 17 grandchildren. I also made 3 big stockings for 3 of my grandchildren. I didn't make all those stockings in one day. ROFL I'll have to take pics of them and post them tomorrow.

I've been working on Earth Angel for awhile now. I just finished her tonight with some of those feather picks I bought at Michael's today. Earth Angel is for a Secret Santa Swap. Got to get her in the mail next week.

As some of you know I LOVE STARBUCKS!! Here's a pic of a couple of new ornaments on my Christmas tree you might find interesting. I Love them. :-)

Aren't the Christmas Bags CUTE? I got them while out shopping with my daughter Nicole today. Paid $1 each bag. Got them at the Dollar Tree. These are nice size bags and the Snowmen, SnowLady & Santa are made of Fabric, buttons, broom, plastic violin. Wish I had bought more and saved them for next year. :-) Maybe I'll go back tomorrow and buy some more. heheheh

TWO MORE BROOCHES

Here's two more Brooches in my Fancy Lady Brooch series. I have 4 more ready to paint and dress. Going to take them with me tomorrow to our perfume shop and work on them while I'm not busy. Hope I'm busy selling perfume but I do want to finish the other Fancy Lady Brooches.

RACHEL ONE OF MY NEW PRESSMOLDS COMING SOON

I wasn't going to show Rachel until I got her pressmolds from Jeff Mold Master. BUT I painted her face and I just had to show y'all. I'm finishing her body and costume. When I totally finish her I will post a pic of her. I just pinned hair and fabric on her to show her face. She's do to change hair colors. Just like a woman. :-)

I also have 2 other pressmolds with Jeff Mold Master. I haven't painted Abella's face yet. When I do I will post a pic so you can see her. My little 7 inch pin dolls pressmold is with Jeff Mold Master. Hehehehe sounds like I just gave Jeff a new middle and last night. ROFL.
I'M EXCITED ABOUT THE 3 New Pressmolds & Patterns. I just had to share them with you.

ROSES IN NOVEMBER

Here's a picture of roses I cut from my rose bushes in my back yard today. I love this time of year and so does my rose bushes. They don't do so well in the dead of the Summer in Las Vegas.

I finished 6 little hats for a Teapot Swap BUT I forgot to take pictures of them before I packed them and mailed them.

I took Sherry Goshon's Mermaid Baby at Doll U this past Sept. I'm giving the doll to my granddaughter Kaeleigh for Christmas. I had to redo her neck because I didn't let the paper clay dry enough and when I pulled the thread around the neck area .......... part of the neck popped off because it wasn't dry. Now she's ready to get her head attached. I'll post a pic of her when I get her head back on her shoulders. :-)

I made a homemade Apple Pie earlier tonight and BOY did it make the house smell GOOD!! Can't wait to eat it tomorrow. Ken does most of the cooking. He makes the Turkey & the stuffing. I make the veggies, mashed potatoes, etc. etc. etc. The kids and grandkids are coming over tomorrow.

WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING Etc Etc Etc .........

Picture is Alissa my Hoffman 2005 doll that traveled for a year. I got her back a couple of weeks ago. I'm glad she is home and she's in perfect condition. :-)

Yesterday (Friday) I worked on hats for a teapot swap and worked on a RR doll & journal. I also worked on revising a pattern of a doll I designed several years ago. I wanted to get it out before Christmas. I HOPE I get it revised soon. If not I will get it out before Valentines Day.
I also am working on body patterns for two new dolls I will be releasing soon with pressmold faces (waiting for the pressmolds from master mold maker). Their names are Rachel and Abella. I'll be releasing my 7 inch pin dolls with pattern and pressmold soon too (waiting for the pressmolds to arrive). Some of you have seen them before. Last night my hubby took me to see Trace Adkins, Billy Currington & James Aldean in concert. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! this was one of my birthday presents. :-)

Today (Saturday) I went shopping all day with my daughter Nicole. We had a good time together. My feet are killing me. LOL !! This is why I don't like shopping. hehehehe It was a nice day out with my daughter Nicole. I have to catch up on emails too. :-) We went to a ScrapBook shop. WOW!!! They have lots of wonderful stuff.

Tomorrow I will continue to work on things I need to finish. :-) I have Christmas stockings to make for 3 of my grandchildren too.

KITCHEN FINISHED EXCEPT FOR THE WINDOW TREATMENTS

Here's some pics of my Kitchen finished EXCEPT for the window treatments and they should be in place in the next 2 weeks. Well, that's what Home Depot said. :-) I HOPE. We ordered Ebony wooden Shutters for the windows and roll up wooden blinds for the sliding doors. I'll post some more good pictures where you can see the whole back wall. I just wanted to get some pics posted so y'all could see. It's a BIG change from what my kitchen was. :-)

MY BIRTHDAY

I haven't posted in awhile. Been busy with life. My kitchen is almost finished. Ken and I have a few finishing touches and it's finished EXCEPT for the window treatments. We aren't sure if we want to put up wooden shutters or curtains. SOON we will decide. I'm working on several new dolls and pressmolds and patterns.

I also just had my 58th birthday. NO I don't feel any older. I want to stay young. hehehe
I got the most WONDERFUL present from my wonderful husband Ken. I love Mel Carter's song HoldME KissMe ThrillMe. I had his records (45 rpm) but they melted in a house fire years ago. We have looked for this one record forever and Ken finally found one in England. Well, I now have it and am THRILLED. Ken also found Mel Carter's CD with lots of his songs.
I'm in HEAVEN listening to them. I might wear them out. hehehehe Ken also gave me tickets for him and I to go see Trace Adkins and Billy Currington this Friday night. WOOOOOHOOO!
My daughter Brandi got me two tickets to see THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER and one of those tickets is for her. So we are going together to see THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER in Jan. WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I LOVE MY BIRTHDAY PRESENTS AND MY FAMILY !!!

Another Kitchen In Progress Report

Here's another Kitchen in Progress report. :-)
This is the dinning area of our kitchen. Our new table and chairs arrived this morning. There will be a light over the table. Ken is putting it up tomorrow. We hung the pictures just a few minutes ago. The cabinets are coming along nicely. Ken will finish them tomorrow. WOOOOHOOOOO!!! We are gettting there. :-)
