A COUPLE OF DOLLS

"ENCHANTED INSPIRATION"

 I created this doll a few months ago. I have shown here before & on Facebook.  I am working on a series of this type of doll.  She's soooooooooooo much fun to create.   There will be various dolls in this series.

"ADARA"

I created this doll for the Gypsy Challenge.   She is home now and in my studio.  I will be creating other types of dolls from my pattern.  She's a lot of fun to create.  

 

 

Now that Thanksgiving is over I will start working on new dolls.  I have several in the works already BUT I am going to work on more dolls for My "Enchanted Inspiration" line of dolls.

 

My granddaughter Brittany goes home tomorrow evening AND WE ARE GOING TO MISS HER SO MUCH!! The past 5 days have been lots of fun with her being here.  We put our Christmas Tree up and decorated it.  Still have some more decorating to do in the house.  I always but a Christmas tree in EVERY ROOM.  Can you tell I love Christmas????? :-)   We leave our trees up until Little Christmas, then we take all the Christmas trees and other Christmas decorations down and put them away for next year.

 

It's almost 12:30 A.M. and my granddaughter told me I need to go to bed. LOL LOL!!! She went to bed so Grandma needs to also.  LOL!

CLEANING MY STUDIOS

I'm cleaning my studios so I can get some new creations started and finished.  I have had several things in progress but stopped on them when my cat "kat" was sick and died.  Now it's time to throw myself back into my creating dolls, etc etc.   I did sculpt a clay cat to put on Kat's urn. I just need to lighten his eyes a little bit more.  He has the prettiest green eyes at times and other times his eyes would be yellow. I miss him but he's in a better place now.

I have so much stuff in both of  my studios I don't know where to put it all. LOL LOL!!  I'm sure I will find places for it all. :-) 

Got some new patterns I had started and now I will finish them and lots of other dolls, etc etc I had started.  Going to finish cleaning my studios tonight and start on new dolls tomorrow. WOOHOO!!

IN MEMORY OF MY CAT "KAT"

My heart is broken.  Our cat "Kat" passed away this morning.  He was so lovely and gentle. He was 13 years old.  I REALLY REALLY AM MISSING HIM!   :-(   He passed away one 2 days after my birthday.

"NOW THAT HALLOWEEN IS OVER".........

Now that Halloween is over........It's back to everyday stuff.  Going into my back studio and finish cleaning and putting stuff in place. What A MESS I MADE!! LOL LOL!!   I'm finding stuff I forgot I had. WOOOHOOO!! Found lots of good stuff. :-)  Then it's back to creating.

Hubby is home today not feeling well.  Allergies are getting to him.  It's 66 degrees and going to be 87 degrees today.  SUMMER IS STILL HERE! 

Just wanted to pop in and say HI and Hope all had a fun Halloween.  I know the East Coast is going to have Halloween Nov. 5th.   My thoughts and prayers are still going out to all the people that was in the Hurricane.

"DOLLS ARE MY CANVAS WITHIN MY SOUL"1996-2012 & beon. :-)  I say that because it's registered in Texas also since I moved from Las Vegas(it's still registered there also).   Seems I had to register it when I moved here.  ANY HOW,  HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY CREATING!!


SOON IT WILL BE CHRISTMAS!!! I WONDER IF WE WILL HAVE SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS?????? Probably not.....Might be warm and it might be cold.  Never know here in Texas. :-)  Las Vegas, NV was warm at Christmas.   One year on Christmas the kids went up to Mt. Charleston and brought a truck load of snow and dumped it on our front yard for the kids to play in.

I'm making more of my Snow People.  There will be new and different ones.
