LITTLE DOLL ARM/HAND

LITTLE LADY Arm/Hand 

All she needs now is another arm/hand, legs with feet of course :-)  A body and head and dressed.

Not sure when that will happen though.  Thought I would post her little arm/hand.  She'll get totally finished in a week or so. At least that's the plan for now. :-) 

OOOPS!! If you click on the picture to make it larger you will see bits and pieces of fibers on her arm. Sorry about that, I forgot to brush them away.  Her arm/hand is smooth and free of blemishes. I just forgot to clean her little arm/hand before I took the picture. :-) I'm bad. :-) Sorry bout that.  Next time I post all the parts they will be nice and clean without fibers laying around. :-)  It's late (almost midnight here and my eyes are getting heavy and sleepy). NITE NITE ALL.

Posting pictures of some dolls I've posted on my facebook.  Some didn't come out right on facebook so thought I would see if they post on my blogspot right. :-) Probably something I was doing wrong on Facebook.  They post fine here. At least I know my pictures post fine here.  I'll have my son Kevin help me find out what I'm doing wrong trying to post pictures on facebook.

Look what a wonderful thing Baby Jacob's family and friends did for Baby Jacob.  They sent lots and lots of balloons for him. My heart and prayers are with Baby Jacob and all his family and friends.

STEAMPUNK MISS PRISSY & JACOB

Meet "STEAMPUNK" Miss Prissy.  I'm teaching Miss Prissy at All Dolls Are Art Conference in July.  I had lots and lots of fun creating "STEAMPUNK" Miss Prissy.  She was a LOT OF FUN to create.  Students will create their own Miss Prissy rather it be Steampunk, Silly, Scary, Pretty or Whatever. The SKY IS THE LIMIT when it comes to creating Miss Prissy.  I've made so many of them and each is different.  Going to make a M&M Miss Prissy to take to the conference also.  I will be taking several different Miss Prissy's so students can see how you can get different looks for Miss Prissy.   Click on the picture to see a larger picture of "STEAMPUNK" Miss Prissy.

NEW POD KID & BABY JACOB & HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I made a new Pod Kid last night while playing around with my clay.  I used alcohol inks on the clay.  I sculpted her face and attached it to the pod I made.  I call it "BABY FLOWER POD" 

"BABY JACOB" still needs our thoughts and prayers.  I'm sending lots of thougths and prayers he's way everyday.  In this post Baby Flower Pod is watching over Baby Jacob.

WOOOOHOOO!! Our grandson Cain is on a plane as I type coming to visit Grandma & Grandpa.  He will be staying over a month with us. I'm soooooooo EXCITED.  Can't wait to see him and give him hugs & kisses.  We have several grandchildren that live here so they all will have lots of fun together.
Now, need our other grandchildren and our children come and visit. That would be nice also. :-)

PLEASE KEEP SAYING PRAYERS FOR BABY JACOB.  HE REALLY REALLY NEEDS YOUR PRAYERS.

BABY JACOB & NEW LIL LADY DOLL

Please say lots of prayers for baby Jacob.  He needs them and so does his family.

He's a friend's grandson and they all need good thoughts and lots of prayers.  Baby Jacob will be having heart surgery and other surgeries.  He needs all the prayers we can say for him. He's in good hands and I know God is watching over him and his family.  He's so cute and adorable. My heart goes out to him. He's so little and sweet.  We are all praying for you baby Jacob.  Sending lots of Love and Prayers for you and your family.

ANOTHER LITTLE LADY DOLL I SCULPTED

I finished another Little Lady Doll that I sculpted.  I broke one of her little fingers off but fixed it.  She's mine. :-)  Will be making more but not for awhile.  I have other stuff to finish first.  I think I've

played around enough now SOOOOOOOO I must get other things done for the conference I'm teaching at. I jump from one thing to another.  SOOOOOO NOW BACK TO BUSINESS. :-)

NEW LITTLE LADY DOLL IN THE WORKS

I have another Little Lady Doll in the works.  I said, I wasn't going to create anymore for awhile BUT she TOLD ME I HAD TO FINISH CREATING HER!!!  Well, she's well on her way being created.  She has a torso, 2 arms(she has long skinny fingers) and that's it for now.  She is going to have to wait for me to finish the sculpting of her head and legs. 

WHY???? Do we or I let these dolls tell me what to do???? LOL!  Yeah, I know it's coming within my head but their little voices get really LOUD sometimes. . LOL  NOPE I'm not crazy as most know when a Doll Wants To Be Created, It Wants To Be Created No Matter What You Do.   I also have been trying to put kits together.  Almost finished with them. WOOOHOOO!!!  Still have lots and lots more to get together before I leave for Austin the end of July.  Time really does fly by fast.  

Our Grandson Cain is flying here from Las Vegas in a few days.  He is staying a little over a month with us. WOOOOHOOOO!!! I can't wait to get and give hugs & kisses.  We have lots of family  here and one cousin is his age.  Cain was here last year for 2 weeks but he wanted to stay longer and we wanted him to stay longer. :-)  I'm EXCITED!!! 

 NOW IF THIS DOLL WOULD JUST LEAVE ME ALONE FOR AWHILE. :-)
I will start sculpting her legs and rest of her head this evening while watching TV with Hubby.  I did sculpt the front of her face yesterday so all I have to do is add the back of her skull and neck.  Guess that is what I will go do now. :-)  She WILL NOT GET DRESSED TOMORROW!!! NO MATTER WHAT SHE SAYS!!.  Have't named her yet NOR have I named the other three Little Ladies. OOOPS!  The one in the black dress has a name; her name is Christine after my Mother.

Wasn't Feeling Good

I wasn't feeling good yesterday or today.  Was down with a migraine headache yesterday(took my pill and went to bed) and today my head still hurt a little.  I feel better this evening.  Those things put me right now.  Hurt, Can't See Right, etc.  First one I've had in a REAL LONG TIME!!  Had them since I was 16 years old. I get the bright flashing colored zig zag lines with the pain ones. I forget what they are called. Head still not working right. :-)  Gone years at a time without one.  Things just pile up on our body sometimes and that's what happens when you least expect one.(Stress, Foods, weather,etc can cause one). Thank goodness meds have come along way since I was 16.  KNOCKING ON WOOD HERE!!! This is the first one I've had in a really long time. Well over a year.   They are inherited. My Mama had them, some of my children have them and some of my grandchildren have them. Runs in our blood line.

That is why I have been quite for a day or so.
Now going to go back to the couch.  Don't like the bright light of the computer yet.

TODAY

Today so far I got up.

Went to Weight Watchers. Lost 1 lb. WOOOHOOO!!! It's ABOUT TIME!!!  Maybe I'm back on the right track.

Allergies are killing me. Not really killing, you know what I mean. :-)   Eyes itchy, watering, red, etc etc. YUCK!  OH, Can't forget the Yucky water pouches under the eyes.  I want to just scratch my eyes but I WON'T !

I sculpted a new doll face.  Have to sculpt the body for her.  Not sure when I will finish this one because I have lots of stuff to get ready for teaching at All Dolls Are Art Conference July26-29, 2012.   www.alldollart.com   CHECK IT OUT! Would love to see some of you at All Doll Art Conference.

I stopped and got a Starbucks Vanilla Latte after Weight Watchers.  That's my Breakfast. LOL LOL!!! OH! BUT IT'S SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!   I have to check and see how many points that is.  ROFL!! It's probably lots of points.  Maybe not anymore than my breakfast would have been. What do you think??? :-)   Any How The Vanilla Latte is SOOOOOO GOOD!  Puts a smile on my face :-)

TV is on and they keep saying something about Facebook but not sure what's going on.  Guess I should go check out my Facebook and see if anything is being said on Facebook.  I'm not sure if I really want to stay on Facebook.  They give out our information, etc etc.   I have to re-think about this.  Heck! Everyone has our information any how !!!!!    Type in your name in Google and you will find lots of stuff about yourself.  Even the Census puts our information out for people to purchase.  I found out that when I typed my name and was looking up my family history.  They have every address you lived at and how many times & whom you were married to.  Have your kids, etc etc etc etc..........  I was SURPRISED to see all of that. LOL LOL LOL!!! Better to Laugh Than Be Mad!! 
Whatever we do in life gets on the Internet. ROFL!!!  It's SAD BUT TRUE!!    Getting MAD doesn't do any good SOOOOOooooooooooo!! LAUGH    What got me was that other people could buy your information.  Not just business can buy your information, WE could buy any ones information. ???????????????  I don't think it's right at all.  I don't have anything to hide but I don't want a stranger  having my address unless I give it to them.   I GUESS ONE WOULD SAY THIS IS MY PET PIVE (not sure of the spelling LOL LOL!! Spellcheck didn't have this word or anything close to it. LOL !)  You know what I mean. :-)

Now I'm going to go finish packing Miss Prissy and Fairies kits.  Got a couple of patterns I have to finish drawing and typing instructions.  I REALLY have lots more but my list would be way too long. LOL

WORKING ON STUFF & ENJOYING THE WEEKEND

I'm working on kits for when I teach at All Dolls Are Art Conference the end of July.  Got lots of other stuff to create, dye, put together, etc etc etc.  Seems like it is taking me forever to get kits made. LOL LOL!!! It really just SEEMS LIKE IT'S TAKING FOREVER.  Just seems that way.  Now I'm ready to work on some other creations.  Waiting for my lace, paints and velvet to arrive.  My white lace supply is very low. My velvet supply is very low.  Out of some of my paints I use.  Everything should be here this week.  I should have ordered a few weeks ago but just let it slip by.  That's OK because I'm not ready for any of it yet.  Still have other things I'm getting together and creating. 

Still THINKING about creating some more little Lady Dolls.  Not sure yet.  Not sure if they would sell or not.  I probably will put them on my Etsy shop and/or Ebay later this year.  I have an Etsy Shop but there's nothing in it and hasn't been forever.  SOON it will have lots of stuff in it.  I say, It's About Time.  LOL LOL!!  This is when I wish there were 100 + of me.  Now that would work. :-)

We have LOTS & LOTS of Craft Shows here.  I have to start doing them again.

I hear the train horn.  I LOVE listening to the train blow it's horn at night time when it comes through our area.  Had to throw that in because the train is blowing it's horn.  It's so peacful sounding to me.

OOOLALA & CARL ARE HOME FROM PARIS

OOOLALA & CARL are home from Paris.  They have been gone for several weeks.  They said, they had lots and lots of fun.  They met new friends to fly around with.  Carl has a new brea on his head.

Sorry, pictures aren't that great.  Will take more tomorrow.  The lighting just wasn't good and I couldn't get the pose I wanted. 

OOOLALA & CARL are telling me lots of wonderful stories about places they were.  OOOLALA showed off her wings I made from real old antique feathers from Paris.  Now OOOLALA is telling me some of her friends want me to make them some wings with my real old antique feathers from Paris.  Will have to see about that one. :-)   I still have some left but not sure how I will use them yet.  SHHHHHH!! Don't let OOOLALA hear me say that.

See the pics aren't that great.  Will re-do them tomorrow.  I'm tried and going to watch TV tonight.

"BLU" Loves sitting on her bird "Hank" and fly around all over the world. 

They are like glue.....They stick together all the time.  They have seen the

world together.  They come home every now and then to see their creator, ME :-). They are here with me now.  That is why you are seeing their picture. They have a lot of stories to tell when they come home from their adventures.

BLU and HANK just told me they have new Fairy and Bird friends.  Wait until you see their New Friends.  It will be awhile before I can post pictures for all to see, because they are flying everywhere. As soon as they all come home I will post their pictures for all to see. 

SOON THEY WILL MAKE THEIR APPEARANCES.  Some have been flying

for a real long time.

BACK FROM LAS VEGAS, NV

Had lots of fun visiting our families & friends in Las Vegas.  NOPE didn't gamble while there. MMMMMMMM!! Yeah, I must be slipping. LOL LOL!!  We stayed busy with family and friends.  I also took Marilynn Hustons snail class while there. She taught at our doll club in Las Vegas. Yes, I'm still a part of the Las Vegas Silver Doll-Ers even though I live in Texas now. Always will be, after all I'm one of the co-founders with Pam whom has moved also.  I LOVE our club and I REALLY REALLY MISS IT and all the MEMBERS!!  I will put the finishing touches on my snail and post a picture.  That week just flew by.

Now that I'm home the days are flying by here.  I can hardly believe we have lived here for 1 year and  2 months ALREADY!!  Time really does FLY BY!!  We are still making changes in the house.  Yesterday was a very long busy day PLUS we had our counter tops removed and new ones put in.  That took most of the day. I LOVE THEM. Also put a new black sink in.  Got to do some touch up painting on the walls, buy new plate covers for all the plugs.  Had other things to do and then we were still out after 9 P.M. last night.  Not sure what time we went to bed.  It was late.  At least it's another new beautiful day even though later storms might be moving in.  Can't have it all. LOL LOL!!  I'm Happy here BUT REALLY MISS ALL OUR KIDS, GRANDKIDS, FAMILY & FRIENDS.  The UP SIDE....We have two Sons, daughter-in-laws and 5 grandkids that live here and friends.  Just can't believe over a year has gone by already.  

I'm working on a new face (which I did in Marilynn's class).  When I got home I took the head off the snail body then I pressed the face in Amazing Mold and made a mold; then I sculpted on it a little bit because it got a bit smashed on one side of her face when it was cooking in class.  I pressed it in  Amazing Mold, then I took my clay and pressed it in the mold.  Pulled the face out and added more clay where needed (it was smashed).  Now I have the face fixed, cooked the clay face and made a new mold.  Now to make a wild body or not so wild body for my new face.  Won't know what it will become until I sit down and start working on it.  I call it IT for now.  Knowing me, IT will turn out pretty.......Seems I don't do weird or mean to well BECAUSE when I try to they still come out pretty. ROFL!!!  Only thing I really really made mean looking was a Snowman for a friend (Sandy) of mine several years ago.  That Snowman was a bad bad bloody snowman holding a bloody snowman head with a bloody pitch fork.  Sandy and I laughed because she didn't think I had mean in me. LOL LOL!!!  It's fun thinking back in the past sometimes. 

Well, I have rattled on and on......My new face is done cooking and cool by now.  Will press her head in Amazing Mold and make a good mold of her.   Probably will have resin molds and a new pattern of the doll I make.  Not saying when because I have several new dolls on the drawing board to finish first.
